This Privacy Policy explains how Mehndi Studio (the “App”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the App. The App is currently in BETA. By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Photos & Images: When you take or upload a photo of your hand, the image is used to detect and segment the hand for mehndi/henna overlay. Images you explicitly save using the app may be stored on your device only. We do not upload saved images to our servers unless you choose an explicit share or upload action.
• Camera Permission: The App requests camera permission to capture photos. You can grant or revoke this permission in your device settings.
• AI Model Data: The AI model runs locally on the device to detect and segment the hand. Model processing typically happens on-device; we do not send image data to remote servers for inference unless a future feature explicitly asks for cloud processing and you consent.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous analytics (crashes, basic usage metrics) to improve the App. This data does not include personally identifiable images unless you explicitly opt into such a feature.

2. How We Use Information

• To improve detection and app performance through anonymous analytics.
• To respond to support requests and feedback if you contact us.

3. Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We may use third-party services (for example, analytics providers or crash reporting tools). Any third-party SDK used will be disclosed at the time of release and will operate under its own privacy terms.

4. Your Choices

• Camera Permission: You can revoke camera access at any time from your device settings. If camera permission is revoked, the App’s photo/capture features will not function.
• Saved Images: Photos you explicitly save are stored on your device. You control deletion of those files from your device gallery.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data if collected. Because no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
